Heavy Burdened

This morning when I woke up I had a heavy burden on my heart.
Exhausted, I was tempted to sleep in so that my body could feel rested but instead I chose to go outside and spend time with the One that my soul and spirit delight in.

I journaled my questions to Him…..
Lord, how do I handle this?
How do I renew my mind in this area?
How do I shift my focus from my problem, to you?
How do you feel about what I’m going through?
Lead me into truly handing it over to you so that my flesh doesn’t take over and react.

Desperate for His voice and His way this morning, I sat to listen.
(Jeremiah 33:3)

Not only did he share with me things about my heart and insight into the situation through his eyes,
but he gave me a scripture verse to hang onto today.
The more thankful I began to get,
the more Scripture he kept pouring in, on what things to think about today.
His thoughts!

He is so good and he is so faithful!

Free with everything that he showed me, It created an atmosphere of worship, and just then I had realized that he had taken my burden.

The enemy’s lie this morning was that I should sleep in and rest my weary body.
But God said, I have taken your burden from you this morning and now your body may rest all day long.

To you God, I Give all the glory!

Update:)
I’m learning that this is not a one- step process…
That as I have gone through out the day, I have had to REPEATEDLY remind myself what God shared with me this morning, and go to him in prayer and worship.
Learning that grief, is different from my day-to-day storms.
Continually rebuking the enemy on my behalf!

Thank you God for what you’re showing me
